15. Where the Canadian establishment from which an employee was laid off was, at the time of his lay-off, part of an industry designated generally pursuant to section 3, the Commission shall, in applying paragraph 14(1)(b) or 14(2)(b) in respect of the employee, take into account as employment in that industry any period of employment of that employee preceding his effective date of lay-off in any other industry so designated, whether or not the designation was in force on that date.
15. Dans le cas où l’établissement canadien d’où un employé a été mis à pied faisait partie, à la date de sa mise à pied, d’un secteur d’activités désigné de façon générale en vertu de l’article 3, la Commission doit, pour l’application des alinéas 14(1)b) et 14(2)b) à l’égard de l’employé, considérer comme une période d’emploi dans ce secteur d’activités toute période antérieure à la date de sa mise à pied où il a été employé dans un autre secteur d’activités ainsi désigné, que la désignation ait ou non été en vigueur à cette date.
