On the basis, therefore, of the serious violations of the rights of workers which we have noted, including of a great many women and children, in the production of sports clothing and footwear, we call on the European Commission to take initiatives and to demand that sport article industries and their world federations apply the rules of the International Labour Organisation.
Dès lors, au vu des sérieuses violations des droits des travailleurs que nous avons constatées, notamment des droits d’un grand nombre de femmes et d’enfants, dans la production de vêtements et chaussures de sport, nous invitons la Commission européenne à prendre des initiatives et à exiger des industries d’articles de sport et de leurs fédérations mondiales qu’elles appliquent les règles de l’Organisation internationale du travail.
