For the minister to suggest in one breath that somehow he is unaware of the problem and then in another breath say that he has been working diligently and has been beavering away with the provincial government trying to work out a solution, and yet turn around in the next breath and suggest there is no plan, it is very discouraging for British Columbia but it is also typical of the Liberal government (2010) Hon. Raymond Chan (Minister of State (Multiculturalism), Lib.): Madam Chair, I am pleased to speak to the issue of the federal government's action plan with regard to the mountain pine beetle epidemic in western Canada.
Même si c'est tout à fait typique de la part du gouvernement fédéral, il est vraiment décourageant pour la Colombie-Britannique que le ministre laisse entendre d'une part, qu'il n'est pas au courant du problème et d'autre part, qu'il travaille diligemment et d'arrache-pied avec le gouvernement provincial à trouver une solution, avant d'affirmer enfin qu'il n'y a pas de plan (2010) L'hon.
