Der Einsatz von Betäubungsgas zur Beendigung der tragischen Geiselnahme Hunderter Bürger in einem Moskauer Theater, der Dutzende Menschen das Leben gekostet hat, die unbekannte Zusammensetzung dieses Gases sowie die Tatsache, dass das Gas im Rahmen internationaler Abkommen möglicherweise verboten ist, wirft wieder einmal nachdrücklich die Frage der Herstellung, Lagerung und Verwendung von chemischen und biologischen Waffen auf.
The use of gases which claimed scores of victims to end the tragedy of the hundreds of citizens taken hostage in a Moscow theatre, the unknown composition of those gases and the fact that they were probably prohibited under international conventions have once again brought the issue of the production, storage and use of chemical and biological weapons sharply into focus.
