In view of the celebrations in the year 2000 marking the 250th anniversary of the death of Johann Sebastian Bach, the funding under this action is earmarked for projects concerned with bringing the works of this great figure of German and European music to a wider audience. Out of 65 submissions in this action, 3 large scale projects were selected for a global amount of 800,000 Euro.
