I agree with the Leader of the Official Opposition in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Honourable Loyola Sullivan, when he stated in his admirable presentation that he supported the government's position on minority rights when they - that is, the government - argue that the minority rights in question belong to all seven denominations; that each of these denominations is a minority; that not one constitutes a majority; and that it is wrong to say that the majority is riding over the rights of the minority.
Je suis d'accord avec le leader de l'opposition officielle de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador, l'honorable Loyola Sullivan, qui a dit dans son admirable exposé qu'il appuyait la position du gouvernement sur les droits des minorités lorsqu'il - c'est-à-dire le gouvernement - part du principe que les droits des minorités en question appartiennent aux sept Églises, que chacune de ces Églises est une minorité, qu'aucune d'entre elles ne constitue une majorité et qu'il est faux de dire que la majorité foule aux pieds les droits de la minorité.
