In the spirit of these efforts, we in Canada reiterate our commitment to the fulfilment of the goals and aims of A World Fit for Children, and of the goals set out in this National Plan of Action entitled A Canada Fit for Children, secure in the knowledge that, as with the 1990 World Summit for Children, progressive implementation will bring us closer to a world that is fit for children, and for us all.

Dans cet esprit, Nous, au Canada, réitérons notre engagement à atteindre les buts et objectifs d’Un monde digne des enfants et les buts fixés dans le Plan d’action national intitulé Un Canada digne des enfants, sachant que, comme pour le Sommet mondial pour les enfants de 1990, une mise en oeuvre progressive aboutira à un monde plus digne des enfants et de nous tous.
