Sullivan et d'autres témoins l'ont fait remarquer, la loi ne fait rien du tout pour ce qui est du contre- interrogatoire des victimes dans le cadre d'une enquête préliminaire ni pour les protéger contre les questions au sujet de ce qui se trouve dans leur journal intime, comme Mme Lakeman, qui a témoigné pour la Cour supérieure de la Colombie-Britannique et qui a été contre-interrogée dans le poste qu'elle occupe actuellement, si je ne me trompe pas.
