The Government of Latvia has adopted a conceptual framework for regional policy, to be implemented by 2003, including the setting-up of management and payment authorities within the Ministry of Finance and a time-frame for decisions on the delegation of functions to the Ministries of Social Affairs and Agriculture, on the implementation of the partnership principle and, on monitoring and financial control procedures.
Le gouvernement letton a adopté un cadre conceptuel pour la politique régionale. Destiné à être appliqué en 2003, ce cadre prévoit notamment la désignation d'autorités de gestion et de paiement au sein du ministère des finances et un calendrier pour la prise de décisions quant à la délégation de certaines tâches au ministère des affaires sociales et au ministère de l'agriculture, à la mise en œuvre du principe de partenariat et à des procédures de suivi et de contrôle financier.
