During fishing operations in the Malagasy fishing zone, and with the exception of natural drifting fish aggregating devices (FADs), the use of fishing supports which change the behaviour of highly migratory species and encourage in particular their concentration near to or beneath the fishing support, shall be limited to so-called green artificial drifting FADs, designed, built and used in a way which helps to avoid cetaceans, sharks or turtles being caught accidentally by the support.
Lors des opérations de pêche dans la zone de pêche de Madagascar, et à l'exception des dispositifs de concentration de poisson (DCP) dérivants naturels, l'utilisation d'auxiliaires de pêche modifiant le comportement des espèces de grands migrateurs et favorisant notamment leur concentration à proximité ou sous l'auxiliaire de pêche, sera limité à des DCP dérivants artificiels dits écologiques dont la conception, la construction et la mise en œuvre devront permettre d'éviter les captures accidentelles de cétacés, de requins ou de tortues par l'auxiliaire.
