The inter-regional dialogue between the Community and Latin America dates back, however, to the beginning of the 1970s, when the first regular contacts were established between the Group of Latin American Ambassadors to the European Communities (GRULA) and representatives of the Commission and the Council in Brussels.
Le dialogue interrégional entre la Communauté et l'Amérique Latine remonte cependant au début des années '70, lorsque les premiers contacts réguliers ont été noués entre le Groupe des Ambassadeurs latino- américains auprès des Communautés européennes (GRULA) et des représentants de la Commission et du Conseil des Ministres à Bruxelles.
