Therefore, in accordance with the Community Guidelines on State aid for rescuing and restructuring firms in difficulty and the Synthetic Fibres Code, the plan for the restructuring of LSB must, at the very least, be sound and likely to restore the company to long-term viability, and result in a significant reduction in the company's capacity for the production of synthetic fibres.
