In fact, the G20 and the IMF are working on a number of proposals which – apart from a financial transactions tax – also include taxation of bonuses and pay in the financial sector (targeting market participants‘ willingness to take excessive risk) as well as taxation of balance sheet items in order to prevent mismatches, all of which could be combined with insurance schemes to avoid the socialisation of future losses in the financial sector.
En fait, le G20 et le FMI travaillent sur un certain nombre de propositions qui, en plus d'une taxe sur les transactions financières, comprennent aussi la taxation des bonus et des salaires du secteur financier (visant la tendance des participants au marché à prendre des risques excessifs) en plus de la taxation des postes du bilan afin de prévenir les asymétries, le tout pouvant être associé à des systèmes d'assurance qui éviteraient la socialisation des pertes futures dans le secteur financier.
