In order to protect the health of consumers from the risk arising from exposure to PAHs in articles, limits on the PAH content in the accessible plastic or rubber parts of articles should be set, and the placing on the market of articles containing any of the PAHs in concentrations greater than 1 mg/kg in those parts should be prohibited.
Afin de protéger la santé des consommateurs du risque posé par une exposition aux HAP présents dans ces articles, il y a lieu de fixer des limites à la teneur en HAP des éléments accessibles en matière plastique ou en caoutchouc de ces articles et d’interdire la mise sur le marché d’articles contenant l’un des HAP dans des concentrations supérieures à 1 mg/kg dans ces éléments.
