The third character of the code identifies the substance involved, and the fourth character specifies the clinical state. The codes should be used, as required, for each substance specified, but it should be noted that not all fourth character codes are applicable to all substances. Identification of the psychoactive substance should be based on as many sources of information as possible. Other diagnoses should be coded when other psychoactive substances have been taken in intoxicating amounts (common fourth character .0) or to the extent of causing harm (common fourth character .1), dependence (common fourth character .2) or other disorders (common fourth character .3-.9). 9. Where a producer, dealer or hatchery operator markets broiler hatching eggs or chicks produced in a non-signatory province in interprovincial trade into a signatory province in excess of that producer’s, dealer’s or hatchery operator’s orderly marketing quota for that signatory province for a year, the Agency shall reduce, in such manner and to such extent as are necessary for the orderly marketing of broiler hatching eggs and chicks, that producer’s, dealer’s or hatchery operator’s orderly marketing quota for that signatory province for the following year.

8. When a producer, dealer or hatchery operator remits levies or additional charges to the Agency or to a Commodity Board under any of sections 5 to 7, the producer, dealer or hatchery operator shall complete, certify and forward to the Agency or the Commodity Board, as a statement that sets out the following information:

A producer, dealer or hatchery operator in a non-signatory province shall remit to the Agency the levies imposed by subsection 2(2) and the additional charges imposed by subsection 3(2) on the producer, dealer or hatchery operator not later than seven days after the broiler hatching eggs are marketed.

(2) An additional charge is hereby imposed on a producer, dealer or hatchery operator in a non-signatory province of $0.175 per broiler hatching egg produced in any non-signatory province and marketed by that producer, dealer or hatchery operator in interprovincial trade into a signatory province in excess of their orderly marketing quota or authorization under subsection 3(3) of the Canadian Broiler Hatching Egg and Chick Orderly Marketing Regulations.
