It's difficult to come up with a reason, because if big pharma wants to operate in the competitive marketplace, why are they threatening not to respond to increased demand, which is what this industry is suggesting Canada might have increased demand for big pharma products? Are they suggesting that maybe they won't fulfil that demand or that they're sufficiently inflexible that they can't increase our share of the global supply simply by producing more?
