In the light of the continual deterioration of the share of rail within the European transport market, and with the prospect of enlargement looming on the horizon, the Commission proposes to speed up the opening of the Member States’ rail networks, to consolidate and harmonise their legal framework, through a new package of 5 texts submitted for our consideration, including the one proposing the creation of a European Rail Agency.
Eu égard à la dégradation continue de la part modale du rail au sein du marché des transports européens et en anticipation du très prochain élargissement, la Commission nous propose d’accélérer l’ouverture des réseaux ferroviaire des États-membres, d’en consolider et d’en harmoniser le cadre juridique, à travers un nouveau «paquet» de 5 textes soumis à notre examen, dont celui visant à la création d'une Agence ferroviaire européenne.
