Mr. Speaker, what we heard yesterday was a strongly held legal opinion that was based on never having visited Sarposa, never having visited the NDS facility in Kandahar, never having visited the Canadian facility at Kandahar airfield, never having visited Kandahar airfield, never having talked to the Government of Canada since the fall of 2006 and never having talked to anybody on the ground who had anything to do with the mission.
Monsieur le Président, ce que nous avons entendu hier était une opinion juridique bien arrêtée, qui a été formulée par une personne qui n'est jamais allée à Sarposa, qui n'a jamais visité les installations de la DNS à Kandahar, jamais visité les installations canadiennes de l'aéroport de Kandahar, jamais visité l'aéroport de Kandahar, jamais parlé à des responsables du gouvernement du Canada depuis l'automne de 2006 et jamais parlé à qui que ce soit sur place ayant quelque responsabilité à l'égard de cette mission.
