Since 1949, the seven Christian denominations - the Anglicans, the Roman Catholics, the United Church, the Presbyterians, the Seventh-day Adventists, the Pentecostals and the Salvation Army - have had the right under the Constitution to taxpayers' dollars on a per-capita basis to operate school systems.
