After three years as a member of the Directing Staff and Deputy Director Land Studies at Canadian Forces Command and Staff College in Toronto, Col. Peters worked on the staff of the Director, Land Concepts in Ottawa for a year before being selected for full-time post-graduate studies at the Royal Military College of Canada, in Kingston.
