Je voudrais en venir maintenant, Madame la Présidente, après les cadeaux, après le bilan, au défi que nous allons devoir affronter ensemble et aux orientations nouvelles qui devraient inspirer le programme de Stockholm, dont j'espère ardemment qu'il pourra être mis en œuvre sur la base du traité de Lisbonne qui serait enfin ratifié.
Now, Madam President, having given out the presents and taken stock, I would like to turn to the challenge that we are going to have to face together and the new guidelines that should inspire the Stockholm programme, which I sincerely hope can be implemented on the basis of the Treaty of Lisbon, should it finally be ratified.
