Was interessant war: Ich habe einige Studien genau gelesen, die kritisiert haben, warum wir die ambitiösen Ziele unserer Strategie – Lissabon, Arbeitsplätze, Beschäftigung – bisher nicht erreicht haben. Einer der Gründe, die im Bericht Sapir und auch vom European Policy Centre angesprochen werden, war, dass zu wenig national ownership da ist – ein furchtbares Wort. Das heißt sozusagen: Niemand fühlt sich in den nationalen Mitgliedstaaten wirklich dafür verantwortlich.
What was interesting was that I recently read a number of studies that considered in a critical light the reasons why we have as yet not achieved the ambitious goals of our strategy – Lisbon, jobs, employment – and one of the reasons given by the Sapir report and also by the European Policy Centre was that there was too little 'national ownership' – dreadful term! – which means, in as many words, that nobody in the Member States actually feels themselves to be responsible.
