Zum Abschluss der Sitzung wurde ein Abkommen unterzeichnet, das die formale Schaffung eines Arbeitgebernetzes vorsieht, in dem ueber Qualifikationen, Berufsbildungsprogramme und Systeme zur Pruefung und Bescheinigung von Kenntnissen in den folgenden fuenf Hauptbereichen gesprochen werden soll: Qualitaet, Umwelt, Sicherheit, Aufsicht und Produktion; dieses Projekt soll zur Schaffung eines europaeischen Instituts fuer Industriemanagement fuehren, das sich mit den Problemen der Qualifikation beschaeftigt, mit denen die Unternehmen auf der mittleren Fuehrungsebene konfrontiert sind.
An agreement was signed at the end of the meeting to formalise the creation of an employers' network to examine qualifications, training programmes and the systems for skill-validation and certification in five priority fields: quality, environment, safety, process-control and production. This project is intended to lead to the creation of a European Institute of Industrial Management capable of dealing with the qualifications problems encountered in the middle management of companies.
