Ich hoffe inständig, dass bei der morgigen Abstimmung eine große Mehrheit, wenn nicht einstimmige Zustimmung, erreicht und so für einen großen Erfolg von Herrn Mitchells Bericht gesorgt wird, eben weil es wichtig ist, dass das Europäische Parlament nach dem Vertrag von Lissabon mehr Macht bekommt.
I sincerely hope that tomorrow’s vote will obtain a very broad majority, if not unanimous approval, thereby ensuring a great victory for the report by Mr Mitchell, precisely because it is important that the European Parliament has greater powers after the Treaty of Lisbon.
