18. ersucht die EU und die Liga der Arabischen Staaten darum, sich gegen den Begriff „Kampf der Kulturen zwischen der islamischen Welt und dem Westen“ zu wenden, der ein Schlagwort ist, das dazu führen kann, dass junge Menschen radikalisiert und von terroristischen Organisationen angezogen werden; fordert in diesem Zusammenhang eine verstärkte Zusammenarbeit bei der Konzeption von Maßnahmen und Programmen der sozialen Integration und Eingliederung mit dem Ziel, den interkulturellen Dialog zu erleichtern;

Asks to the EU and the LAS to work together to counter the notion of a clash of civilisations between the Islamic World and the West, a narrative that has the potential to radicalise and attract young people to terrorist organisations; in this context calls for enhanced cooperation to formulate policies and programs of social integration and inclusion with the aim to facilitate the intercultural dialogue;
