As far as funding the effects of the BSE and foot and mouth crises is concerned, during the consultation of 20 July between the European Parliament and the Council, we concluded an agreement on a joint declaration in which the two arms of the budgetary authority were informed that, under the maximum of sub-category 1A of the financial perspectives, as laid down in the draft budget, a sufficient margin should be maintained to meet the needs in connection with the BSE and foot and mouth crises.
Bezüglich der Finanzierung der Folgen der BSE-Krise und der Maul- und Klauenseuche haben wir bei der Konsultation am 20. Juli zwischen dem Europäischen Parlament und dem Rat eine Einigung über eine gemeinsame Erklärung erzielt, in der die beiden Teile der Haushaltsbehörde zur Kenntnis nehmen, dass unter der im Haushaltsentwurf festgelegten Obergrenze der Teilrubrik 1 A der Finanziellen Vorausschau ein ausreichender Spielraum belassen werden muss, um den Erfordernissen im Zusammenhang mit der BSE-Krise sowie der Maul- und Klauenseuche gerecht zu werden.
