c.Increase awareness and prioritise joint actions and exchange of best practises, in close cooperation with the UN, regional organizations and civil society, including the 10 year global initiative (Convention against torture Initiative, CTI), to achieve global ratification and implementation of the UN Convention against Torture (CAT) by 2024 and to promote the ratification and implementation of its Optional Protocol (OPCAT) and the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.
c.Stärkere Sensibilisierung, Festlegung vorrangiger gemeinsamer Maßnahmen und Austausch bewährter Verfahren in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinten Nationen, regionalen Organisationen und der Zivilgesellschaft, einschließlich im Hinblick auf die weltweite, auf zehn Jahre angelegte „Convention against Torture Initiative“, damit bis 2024 die weltweite Ratifizierung und Umsetzung des Übereinkommens gegen Folter erreicht wird, sowie Förderung der Ratifizierung und Umsetzung des Fakultativprotokolls zum Übereinkommen gegen Folter und des internationalen Übereinkommens zum Schutz aller Personen vor dem Verschwindenlassen.
