Aus einem dem Parlament von der Kommission übermittelten Papier ("Factual responses to allegations and claims made by Mrs Andreasen in her letter to MEPs on 24 May 2002 and elsewhere") geht hervor, dass die Haushaltsrechnung für das Haushaltsjahr 2001 von der seit 1. Januar 2002 amtierenden Rechnungsführerin nicht abgezeichnet worden war, weil die in Artikel 18 der Durchführungsbestimmungen vorgesehene ordnungsgemäße Übergabe zwischen ihr und ihrem Vorgänger noch nicht stattgefunden hatte und sie zudem offenbar Zweifel an der Zuverlässigkeit des Rechnungsabschlusses hatte.
