Whilst in its previous reports the Commission found that the share of models with a price difference of more than 20% steadily dropped from 24% to 18%, the share of cases where price differences are higher than 20% now amounts to more than 50%, composed of 55% of all models of European manufacturers and 37% of all models of Japanese manufacturers.
Während die Kommission in ihren früheren Berichten feststellen konnte, daß der Anteil der Modelle, bei denen die Preisdifferenz mehr als 20 % betrug, stetig von 24 % auf 18 % gesunken war, ist in dieser Sparte nun ein Anstieg auf über 50 % zu verzeichnen. Betroffen sind hiervon 55 % aller Modelle europäischer Kfz-Hersteller und 37 % der Modelle japanischer Hersteller.
