Aviation contributes to the overall climate change impact of human activities and the environmental impact of greenhouse gas emissions from aircraft can be mitigated through measures to tackle climate change in the EU and third countries, especially in developing countries, and to fund research and development for mitigation and adaptation including in particular in the fields of aeronautics and air transport.
Der Luftverkehr ist mitverantwortlich für die durch den Menschen verursachten Klimaauswirkungen im Allgemeinen, und die Umweltauswirkungen von Treibhausgasemissionen aus Luftfahrzeugen können durch Maßnahmen zur Bekämpfung des Klimawandels in der Europäischen Union und in Drittländern, insbesondere in Entwicklungsländern, und zur Finanzierung von Forschung und Entwicklung auf dem Gebiet der Eindämmung und Anpassung, insbesondere in den Bereichen Luftfahrt und Luftverkehr gemildert werden.
