Where the contract involves, on the conclusion thereof or within sixty days thereafter, the payment of an amount on account, the opening of a confirmed or unconfirmed documentary credit, or the delivery of a transfer guarantee or a payment guarantee, the taking effect of the insurer's guarantee shall be conditional upon the completion of these formalities.
Sieht der Ausfuhrvertrag vor, daß bei Abschluß des Vertrages oder innerhalb von 60 Tagen nach Abschluß des Vertrages eine Anzahlung zu leisten, ein bestätigtes oder unbestätigtes Akkreditiv zu eröffnen oder eine Transfer- oder Zahlungsgarantie oder eine andere, die Zahlung betreffende Sicherheit beizubringen ist, so wird der Beginn der Haftung aus der Bürgschaft bis zur Erfuellung dieser Erfordernisse aufgeschoben.
