Die Verbindungskabel zwischen dem Kontrollgerät und dem Transmitter müssen durch elektronische Überwachung wie etwa eine Signalverschlüsselung geschützt sein, die im System vorhandene Einrichtungen aufspürt, die für den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Kontrollgeräts nicht erforderlich sind und ihn bei Anschluß oder Inbetriebnahme durch Kurzschluß, Störungen, Änderung der elektronischen Daten des Geschwindigkeits- und Weggebers oder durch Duplikation an sich zugelassener Einrichtungen verhindern könnten.
