(FR) It is important for the legitimacy, credibility and effectiveness of the future of the CAP that, firstly, payments go to active farmers (in other words, farmers who are actively engaged in agricultural production or the supply of public goods and who make a real contribution to the CAP objectives) and, secondly, that we exclude so-called ‘sofa farmers’, who receive payments without doing anything.
(DE)Für die Legitimität, Glaubwürdigkeit und Wirksamkeit der GAP ist es in Zukunft wichtig, dass erstens Zahlungen an aktive Landwirte geleistet werden (d. h. Landwirte, die eine landwirtschaftliche Produktion aktiv betreiben oder an der Versorgung mit öffentlichen Gütern aktiv beteiligt sind, und die einen echten Beitrag zur Erreichung der GAP-Ziele leisten), und zweitens, dass wir die sogenannten „Sofa-Bauern“ (sofa farmers), die ohne etwas zu tun, Zahlungen erhalten, ausschließen.
