...[+++]pment of these markets; believes that monitoring primary and secondary base metals markets could provide valuable inputs to corrective and proactive measures which are inevitable due to the cyclical nature of these steel industries; welcomes the report by the European Rare Earths Competency Network (ERECON) ; calls on the Commission to continue its actions under ERECON to develop a diversified and sustainable rare earths (REE) supply chain for Europe and, in particular, implement the policy recommendations and provide support for substitution solutions and greater recycling; 23. fordert diplomatische Maßnahmen der EU im Bereich der Rohstoffe für die metallurgische Industrie, die auf strategischen Partnerschaften beruhen, aus denen sowohl die europäischen Länder als auch die Rohstoffförderländer Nutzen ziehen, indem die Schaffung qualifizierter Arbeitsplätze in der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette gefördert wird; fordert die Kommission auf, ein Instrument zur detaillierten Analyse des Stahlmarkts einzuführen, damit genaue Informationen über das Verhältnis von Stahlangebot und -nachfrage in Europa und weltweit vorliegen, wobei zwischen struktur- und konjunkturbedingten Entwicklungskomponenten dieses Marktes zu unterscheiden ist; ist
...[+++] der Ansicht, dass die Beobachtung des primären und des sekundären Marktes für unedle Metalle wichtige Informationen für Korrekturmaßnahmen und Vorkehrungen liefern könnte, die aufgrund der Konjunkturschwankungen in der Stahlindustrie unvermeidbar sind; begrüßt den Bericht des Europäischen Kompetenznetzes „Seltene Erden“ (ERECON) ; fordert die Kommission auf, sich im ERECON weiter dafür einzusetzen, dass die Versorgung Europas mit seltenen Erden stärker diversifiziert und tragfähiger wird, vor allem die politischen Empfehlungen umzusetzen und Ersatzlösungen und eine verstärkte Verwertung zu unterstützen;
