The product concerned is used as an initiator or as an oxidising agent in a number of applications. Some examples include its use as polymerisation initiator in the production of polymers, as an etching agent in the production of printed circuit boards, in hair cosmetics, in textile desizing, in paper manufacturing as a denture cleanser and as a disinfectant.
