It is proposed to strengthen this action through the introduction of support for the construction and operation of new infrastructures of European interest in the form of a mechanism like that used for the trans-European networks (TENs [19]), based on the model used to support a free electron laser and nanoelectronics facilities in the framework of the "European Growth Initiative".

Diese Maßnahmen sollen gestärkt werden, indem eine Förderregelung für die Errichtung und den Betrieb neuer Infrastrukturen von europäischem Interesse, ähnlich dem System für die transeuropäischen Netze (TEN [19]), eingeführt wird. Vorbild dabei kann die Unterstützung für einen Freie-Elektronen-Laser und eine Infrastruktur für die Nanoelektronik im Rahmen der ,Wachstumsinitiative für Europa" sein.
