Considers that the fight against cancer requires a real and accountable action plan that sets clear and ambitious goals that go beyond the mere collection of existing data as currently proposed by the Commission; considers also that fighting cancer is a long-term battle and believes, therefore, that the Commission should propose long-term plans rather than a Partnership that is currently scheduled to be in force only from 2009 to 2013 under the currently proposed structure;
14. ist der Ansicht, dass für die Krebsbekämpfung ein konkreter und nachvollziehbarer Aktionsplan mit klaren und hochgesteckten Zielen erforderlich ist, der über das bloße Erfassen vorhandener Daten, wie gegenwärtig von der Kommission vorgeschlagen, hinausgeht; vertritt die Auffassung, dass der Kampf gegen den Krebs langwierig ist, und ist deshalb der Ansicht, dass die Kommission statt einer Partnerschaft, die in der gegenwärtig vorgeschlagenen Struktur nur von 2009 bis 2013 bestehen soll, vielmehr langfristige Pläne vorschlagen sollte;
