– (DE) Mr President, as we all know, food prices have been continually increasing in recent times – and apparently the price of wheat is about to rocket as a result of the capriciousness of the weather and agricultural speculation – yet prices in the shops bear no relation to what small farmers get for their hard work.
- Herr Präsident! Zwar sind die Lebensmittelpreise bekanntlich in letzter Zeit ständig gestiegen – und uns steht ja beim Weizen aufgrund der Wetterkapriolen und der Agrarspekulationen angeblich eine Preisexplosion bevor –, die Ladenpreise stehen allerdings in keiner Relation zu dem, was die Kleinbauern für ihre harte Arbeit erhalten.
