We have not only raised the issue of ice strengthening, in other words, specific safety measures for oil tankers in areas of ice formation, particularly, amongst others, the Baltic sea, with regard to a specific regulation in the European Union, but also within the International Maritime Organisation.
Wir haben die Frage der Eisverstärkung, das heißt, der besonderen Schutzmaßnahmen für Öltankschiffe in Gebieten mit Eisbildung, unter anderem insbesondere in der Ostesee, nicht nur im Hinblick auf eine eigene Regelung in der Europäischen Union, sondern auch in der Internationalen Seeschifffahrtsorganisation angesprochen.
