– (PT) Mr President, I should just like to ask Mr Rangel whether, given that he is saying here that the next Portuguese Government will present the same austerity measures and will commit to the same targets that have been negotiated with Brussels, does he not think it infantile and imprudent to provoke a political crisis; whether he thinks that Portugal will pay too high a price and that it will require too many sacrifices from the Portuguese people?
– (PT) Herr Präsident, ich möchte eigentlich nur Herrn Rangel fragen, ob er, in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass er sagt, die nächste portugiesische Regierung werde die gleichen Sparmaßnahmen vorlegen und die gleichen Zielvorgaben festlegen, die mit Brüssel vereinbart worden sind, es nicht für infantil und unvorsichtig erachtet, eine politische Krise heraufzubeschwören; ob er glaubt, dass Portugal einen zu hohen Preis bezahlen wird und das portugiesische Volk zu viele Opfer bringen muss?
