While youth unemployment is a serious issue throughout the world at the moment that must be tackled head on, it must be remembered that mobility is more than just about entering the labour market; it is also extremely important for non-formal education (NFE) which in turn helps to develop key competences and skills in young people.
Während Jugendarbeitslosigkeit derzeit weltweit ein gravierendes Problem ist, das frontal angegangen werden muss, ist auch zu beachten, dass es bei Mobilität nicht nur darum geht, Zutritt zum Arbeitsmarkt zu erlangen; äußerst wichtig ist sie auch für die nicht formale Bildung (NFB), die wiederum dazu beiträgt, wesentliche Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten Jugendlicher zu entwickeln.
