Several Delegations recalled the commitment by the Commission, made at the Council session of 17/18 December 1998, to come forward with a proposal, on the basis of appropriate track records, for the allocation of the TAC for blue whiting and for new TACs and quotas for spurdog and Northern shrimp, and the undertaking by the Council to adopt such a proposal by 31 March 1999.
Mehrere Delegationen erinnerten an die von der Kommission auf der Tagung des Rates vom 17./18. Dezember 1998 gemachte Zusage, auf der Grundlage geeigneter Fangberichte einen Vorschlag für die Zuteilung der TAC für Blauen Wittling und neue TACs und Quoten für Dornhai und Tiefseegarnelen zu unterbreiten, sowie an die Zusage des Rates, diesen Vorschlag bis zum 31. März 1999 anzunehmen.
