Notes with concern the way the Agency applies the authorisation process as part of the REACH Regulation, with a focus, above all, on providing help to companies to obtain an authorisation for the use of substances of very high concern rather than help companies to the same extent in order to encourage the substitution of the most hazardous chemicals and innovation by swapping them for safer alternatives;
20. nimmt mit Sorge Kenntnis von der Art und Weise, wie die Agentur das Zulassungsverfahren im Rahmen der REACH-Verordnung anwendet, wobei der Schwerpunkt in erster Linie darauf liegt, den Unternehmen dabei behilflich zu sein, eine Zulassung für die Verwendung besonders besorgniserregender Stoffe zu erwirken, anstatt die Unternehmen im gleichen Ausmaß dabei zu unterstützen, den Austausch der gefährlichsten chemischen Stoffe und die Innovation dadurch zu fördern, dass diese Stoffe durch sicherere Alternativen ersetzt werden;
