Recalls that plants absorb CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and produce biomass that can be converted into biogas, biofuels and industrial goods; that the increase in the use of agricultural products in the production of industrial products such as polymers, lubricants, surface agents, solvents and fibres, can also help reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources;
