In July 2014, Slovakia notified plans to grant tax incentives worth €58 million to support an investment project aimed at modernising Duslo's production facilities for ammonia in Šal'a, an area with high unemployment and a standard of living below the EU average, eligible for regional aid under Article 107(3)(a) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).
Im Juli 2014 teilte die Slowakei der Kommission mit, dass sie beabsichtige, Steueranreize im Wert von 58 Mio. EUR zu gewähren, um ein Investitionsvorhaben zur Modernisierung der Ammoniakproduktionsanlagen von Duslo in Šaľa zu unterstützen. Šaľa ist ein Gebiet mit hoher Arbeitslosigkeit und einem unter dem EU-Durchschnitt liegenden Lebensstandard, das nach Artikel 107 Absatz 3 Buchstabe a des Vertrags über die Arbeitsweise der Europäischen Union (AEUV) für Regionalbeihilfen in Betracht kommt.
