There are three elements of particular importance for the development of stronger entrepreneurial biotechnology, namely a series of provisions to develop and reinforce the system of giving scientific advice through the creation of expert panels and permanent working groups in the EMEA, the introduction of a fast-track marketing authorisation procedure for products with a major public health interest for European patients, and a conditional marketing authorisation.
Sie umfasst drei Elemente von besonderer Bedeutung für die Entwicklung einer leistungsfähigeren industriellen Biotechnologie, nämlich eine Reihe von Bestimmungen zur Entwicklung und Stärkung des Systems wissenschaftlicher Beratung durch die Einsetzung von Expertenpanels und ständigen Arbeitsgruppen in der EMEA, die Einführung eines beschleunigten Genehmigungsverfahrens für die Vermarktung von Produkten, die von besonderem Interesse für die Gesundheit europäischer Patienten sind, sowie eine an Bedingungen geknüpfte Marktzulassung.
