Nevertheless, in view of the review of the trial and the new sentence, we have seen that the technical reports that have cleared the Bulgarian nurses of blame — some of them signed by the very person who discovered the AIDS virus and by Oxford scientists — have demonstrated, by means of a philogenetic analysis of the children's virus, that this virus had arrived in Libya many years before the Bulgarian nurses arrived on Libyan soil.
Doch bei der Revision des Prozesses und dem neuen Urteil haben wir gesehen, dass die die bulgarischen Krankenschwestern entlastenden technischen Berichte – einige davon waren von derselben Person, die den AIDS-Virus entdeckt hat, und von Wissenschaftlern aus Oxford unterzeichnet – durch eine phylogenetische Analyse des Virus der Kinder nachgewiesen haben, dass dieser Virus viele Jahre bevor die bulgarischen Krankenschwestern libyschen Boden betraten nach Libyen gelangt war.
