1. Where presentation of the Community transit declaration at the office of departure is waived in respect of goods which are to be dispatched under cover of a consignment note CIM, or a TR transfer note, in accordance with Articles 413 to 442, the customs authorities shall determine the measures necessary to ensure that sheets 1, 2 and 3 of the consignment note CIM, or sheets 2, 3A and 3B of the TR transfer note bear the symbol 'T1` or 'T2`, as the case may be.

3. Where a TR transfer note relates both to containers containing goods moving under the external Community transit procedure and containers containing goods moving under the internal Community transit procedure, in accordance with Article 311 (b) and with Article 165 of the Code, the office of departure shall enter in the box reserved for customs on sheets 2, 3A and 3B of the TR transfer note separate references to the container(s), depending upon which type of goods they contain, and shall enter the symbol 'T1` and the symbol 'T2`, 'T2 ES` or 'T2 PT` respectively, alongside the reference to the corresponding container(s).

(3) Betrifft ein Übergabeschein TR gleichzeitig Großbehälter mit Waren, die im externen gemeinschaftlichen Versandverfahren befördert werden, und Großbehälter mit Waren, die gemäß Artikel 311 Buchstabe b) und Artikel 165 des Zollkodex im internen gemeinschaftlichen Versandverfahren befördert werden, so trägt die Abgangsstelle in dem für den Zoll bestimmten Feld der Exemplare Nrn. 2, 3A und 3B des Übergabescheins TR für die betreffenden Großbehälter je nach Warenart getrennte Hinweise ein und bringt jeweils die Kurzbezeichnung "T1" beziehungsweise "T2", "T2ES" oder "T2PT" an.

If, however, the goods are to move under the T 2 procedure in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 (3) (b) of the Convention the office of departure shall indicate on sheet 3A of the TR transfer note that the goods to which the document refers are carried under the T 2 procedure; the symbol T 2 shall accordingly be clearly shown in the box for customs use of sheet 3A of the TR transfer note together with the stamp of the office of departure and the signature of the responsible official.

6. Where a TR transfer note relates at the same time to containers containing goods moving under the T 1 procedure and containers containing goods moving under the T 2 procedure, the office of departure shall enter in the box reserved for customs of sheets 2, 3A and 3B of the TR transfer note separate references to the container(s), depending upon the type of goods which they contain, and shall enter the symbol T 1 and the symbol T 2, T 2 ES or T 2 PT, respectively, alongside the reference to the corresponding container(s).
