The thumbs must be over the steering wheel rim and must be lightly taped to the steering wheel rim so that if the hand of the test dummy is pushed upward by a force of not less than 9 N and not more than 22 N, the tape releases the hand from the steering wheel rim.
Die Daumen müssen auf dem Lenkradkranz liegen und mit Klebeband so daran befestigt sein, daß sich die Hand der Prüfpuppe vom Lenkradkranz löst, wenn sie durch eine Kraft von mindestens 9 N und höchstens 22 N nach oben gedrückt wird.
