C. whereas in protest thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of cities throughout the country, including Wad Madani, Khartoum, Omdurman, Port Sudan, Atbara, Gedarif, Nyala, Kosti, and Sinnar, as the austerity measures introduced by the government, together with the virtual doubling of fuel prices, hit the poor hardest;
C. in der Erwägung, dass Tausende Demonstranten in Städten im ganzen Land, unter anderem in Wad Madani, Khartum, Omdurman, Port Sudan, Atbara, Gedarif, Nyala, Kosti und Sinnar, aus Protest auf die Straße gingen, da die von der Regierung eingeführten Sparmaßnahmen in Verbindung mit den praktisch auf das Doppelte gestiegenen Kraftstoffpreisen die armen Bevölkerungsschichten am härtesten trafen,
